Your register stays yours.

Balance Forward does not send your register to us. There are no ads, tracking SDKs, analytics SDKs or Balance Forward accounts.

Who provides the app

Balance Forward is provided by Alberto Sebastián Valverde under the Yoinlabs name. Privacy questions: asvalverde01@gmail.com

What stays on your device

Accounts, balances, payees, categories, entries, history, recurring rules, check-printing details and backup files are stored locally. If you enter routing or account numbers for checks, they are included in your local data and backups. We do not operate a server that receives your register.

Apple, printing and files you share

Apple handles payments and purchase verification through StoreKit under Apple's privacy practices. We do not receive your payment-card details. Printing sends the chosen check to your printer. Exporting, emailing or moving a file sends it to the destination you choose. Device or iCloud backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.

Optional app lock

If you enable the app lock, iOS authenticates you using Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. The app does not receive your biometric data or passcode.

Support and diagnostics

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments you choose to send. The support email composer includes the app and iOS versions, but does not automatically attach your register. We use that correspondence to help with your request and retain it only as needed for support and legal obligations. Apple may provide diagnostic reports according to your device sharing settings; the app has no third-party crash-reporting service.

Deleting data

Removing the app removes its local app data. Separately remove exported files and backup copies from Files, cloud storage, device backups or other destinations where you kept them. Offloading an app may retain its data. We hold no copy of your register to delete. Contact us about support correspondence.

Children and policy changes

This app is a personal record-keeping tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information. We will update this page when practices change and show the revision date above.

This website

This site has no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider processes ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses, to serve and protect the site.
